Tumblr is clearly the platform of choice for sharing weird and wonderful content, and it was only natural that the Funyuns brand would embrace it as a means of reaching their fans.
The design is an incredible acid trip through animated gifs, Tim and Eric-inspired storytelling, with some clever animations thrown in for effect.
Tumblr offers some unique hurdles when considering technology to integrate with the front end. As it only allows for a single file and limited support for hosted assets we worked with Mayday.is to pull off an ingeniously-designed Tumblr theme.
As you scroll down the theme, take special note of the paisley color bursts that spring out from the edge of the page as you scroll – they are a subtle but wonderful touch to an absolutely bonkers theme.
